"I am very much put out about my Ladybird." ¡¡¡¡"Indeed?" ¡¡¡¡"For gracious sake say something else besides 'indeed,' or you'll fidget me to death," said Miss Pross: whose character (dissociated from stature) was shortness. ¡¡¡¡"Really, then?" said Mr. Lorry, as an amendment.
